ABOUT

Isaac Reyes is a Mexican born artist who attended The University of Houston where he received his BFA in Sculpture. His work has been shown in Houston Community College’s (HCC, central) student shows multiple times. Reyes was selected to participate in the 2012 Summer Studio Program at Project Row Houses where we created the installation “La Cueva”.  His work was selected to be a part of the breaking boundaries IV part of the international photography festival of Pingyao China. Reyes was a part of the 2013 Men of Honor Exhibit at Houston community college and the following year he installed his work “Tormenta” at the Micro Scope Project. Most recently he received the Archie D. and Bertha H. Walker Scholarship at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Ma. And his piece “Ama Tierra” was shown at the Houston run of Cirque du Soleil Amaluna.
